Benchmarking Technical Staff Ratios in Laboratory Mouse Facilities

Welcome to this survey of the FELASA Working Group.

This follow-up survey aims to provide clear benchmarks for laboratory animal facilities regarding the technical staff required to care of laboratory mice.

The survey has been prepared by the FELASA Working Group “Benchmarking the Ratio of Technical Staff for the Care of Laboratory Mice, according to the personnel’s role and housing and husbandry conditions.”

It is designed for mouse facility managers and personnel planners, and aims to support staffing decisions based on real data from various mouse housing and husbandry conditions.

If your facility includes multiple independent units or barriers, you are welcome to submit the survey separately for each unit you are responsible for.
